These inscriptions, which were woven and installed by order of the Al-Askari Shrine for the Arbaeen mourning ceremonies in the year 1395 AH (Solar Hijri), cover a total area of more than 540 square meters for 28 columns of the courtyards of the holy shrine of Samarra, including the sides of the Qibla Gate, the Ghaiba Gate, and the Murad Gate.

16 inscriptions, each 9 meters long
6 inscriptions, each 10 meters and 80 centimeters long
4 inscriptions, each 13 meters long
2 inscriptions, each 4 meters and 80 centimeters long
The width of all the works is approximately 1 meter and 60 centimeters.
